Perhaps they belonged to Vikings... or they were the cats pulling the chariot of the Norse goddess Freya. They have a top coat of glossy, long, water-shedding hair and a woolly undercoat for insulation, boundless energy for tree climbing and playing, and this year one particular Norwegian Forest Cat was named Best In Show at the ADVANCE^TM Sydney Royal Cat Show.

Bushkenheim Jaxon was named overall supreme exhibit, making owner Karen Gaunt the proudest cat lady in Sydney, and thrilling cat lovers everywhere. A gorgeous, long-haired grey and white boy, Jaxon is no stranger to cat competitions, but taking out the top title at Sydney Royal - one of the most prestigious cat competitions in the country - is one that will be very hard to top.
