“I look forward to my involvement in the President’s Medal,” Colin said about the offer to join the Sydney Royal team as President’s Medal Guest Chef and Market Acceptance Judge.
“These people are top shelf in what they do and it will be great to be creative around their products”, he said.

In the past it has included Neil Perry, Matt Moran, Peter Doyle, Peter Gilmore, Justin North, Mark Best, David Clarke, Christine Manfield, James Viles and current Executive Chef, Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, Tim Browne.
Sydney Royal Wine and Fine Food Committee Chair Lyndey Milan OAM welcomed Colin Fassnidge's acceptance of the President's Medal role.
“Colin is the perfect fit for the President's Medal”.
“He has a reputation for recoognising excellence and demanding the best and that is exactly what the President's Medal process is all about uncovering, excellence.
“Colin is known for his 'nose to tail' style in food preparation, so little goes to waste,” Lyndey Milan said.
As Guest Chef, Colin will evaluate the commercial attractiveness of the six President's Medal fianlists and select one of their products to design a dish around for the Awards Night to held during the 2018 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Colin will also be a guest speaker at the Awards Night and speak to the President's Medal selection process.
President's Medal finalists are rigorously evaluated on the triple bottom line including the quality, marketability, financial integrity and environmental sensitivity of their operations.
