Volunteering
The Sydney Royal Easter Show is Australia's largest annual ticketed event when we come together to celebrate the vital role that agriculture plays in the health and wealth of our nation and applaud the highest achievers in agricultural excellence. Non-stop competitions, a delicious variety of Show food to enjoy and a thrilling entertainment program with a spectacular fireworks finale every night are just some of the highlights of this 12-day event. Volunteers are one of the Show's most valuable assets, and we truly appreciate your support. Our Volunteer program exists to help us make the Sydney Royal Easter Show a safe and enjoyable experience for all Showgoers, and to provide you with the opportunity to engage, excite and educate. For many, you are the face of the Show and that is why you are so important to us. We truly appreciate your time and efforts in helping us bring the Show to life. Note : Minimum age requirement to volunteer at the Sydney Royal Easter Show is 16 years of age and you must have a valid Working With Children number if you are 18 years or over. What's involved? Volunteers are asked to assist in a variety of roles, such as welcome and directional ushers, Show information agents, and assist Children with educational & agricultural activities, across several venues including Agricultural, Animal, and Educational Pavilions. Being an integral part of the Sydney Royal Easter Show will not only provide you with an amazing experience but allow you to make life-long friends and develop new skills. Whether you are here to simply give back to the community or to enjoy the Show differently, we will provide you with a rewarding and memorable experience. You’ll be supported by our Volunteers Management Team and volunteer Team Leaders. All you need to bring with you is a "can-do" attitude, a welcoming smile, and a commitment to excellence in customer service. The Sydney Royal Easter Show is a COVID Safe event, and we have a COVID Safe plan in place for our Volunteers.
