Change of ownership


From 1 July 2021, the price of paper based individual
change of ownership (received by email, post or fax) will increase to $20.
The price for online change of ownership will remain at $15.

All individual change of ownership forms received as of this date
will be charged $20.

Online

Processing time for online change of ownership is up to 15 days.

Paper based

Processing time for paper based change of ownership is approximately 4 weeks.

If you prefer to complete a paper based change of ownership request, please complete a change of ownership form and return to AAR for processing.

The form must be signed by the previous owner and the new owner. If the previous owner's signature cannot be obtained, AAR will contact the current registered owner on your behalf. Please allow approximately 4 weeks for the request to be completed.

Please note: as of 1 October 2021, statutory declarations will no longer be accepted for change of ownership requests.

Note: a processing fee applies for all change of ownerships. 
          Registered owners must be 18 years of age or older.
