Goat Young Judges Competition
There are two Goat Young Judges Competitions:
- Angora Goat and Mohair Young Judges Competition
- Boer Goat Young Judges Competition
The Angora Goat and Mohair Young Judges Competition aims to determine which competitor most correctly assesses a group of four Angora Goats and a group of four Mohair Fleeces. All competitors placing results are compared to experienced Judges, and after careful inspection and consideration the overjudges assess the competitors oral presentation in combination with the competitor judging results to determine a winner.
The Boer Goat Young Judges Competition aims to determine which competitor most correctly assesses two groups of four Boer Goat exhibits. Visual judging will take place first with Competitors allowed to judge the two rings of four Exhibits and complete the visual judging cards. All competitors placing results are compared to experienced Judges, and after careful inspection and consideration the overjudges assess the competitors oral presentation in combination with the competitor judging results to determine a winner.
