The Australian Stock Horse Young Judges Competition aims to determine which competitor most correctly assesses a group of four Stock Horse exhibits. Visual judging will take place first with Competitors allowed to judge the four Exhibits. All competitors placing results are compared to experienced Judges, and after careful inspection and consideration the overjudges assess the competitors oral presentation in combination with the competitor judging results to determine a winner.

The Pony Young Judges Competition aims to determine which competitor most correctly assesses a group of four Pony exhibits. Visual judging will take place first with Competitors allowed to judge the four Exhibits.
